Year 1 Continuous Provision - Elmer This scheme of work has been planned with the aim of allowing children to become totally familiar with the story ‘Elmer’, as well as being able to make links to their own lives. There is a focus on emotional literacy throughout. Part 1 - Each day includes one group or whole class activity that focuses mostly on children’s emotions, as well as adjusting to routines and expectations. However, it would be a great transition resource for the first week of year 1.
