Spanish GCSE tecnología y Internet: a resource to introduce key core vocabulary on Internet & media
An introductory sheet on the topic of technology . There are four reading activities which will allow pupils to talk about their use of technology in their free time and to give justified opinions on the topic. This is an excellent scaffold for any writing or speaking about technology/ Internet/ social networks or free time at GCSE or KS3 extension.

Spanish School Reading Comprehension (KS3/ GCSE Foundation)
A reading comprehension with activities on school on which to base a whole lesson. There is a pre-reading vocabulary match up, the text, comprehension questions (answers in Spanish), true/false question and reformulation translation into Spanish.
This is aimed at KS3 (the text only uses the present tense) but would also work well with a weaker GCSE group.

A resource on tourism in Benidorm that considers the impact of the growth of tourism in this town and the positive and negative effects. French GCSE Family Relations: Les ados et les parents (Reading, Translation & Writing)
A standalone worksheet on Family Relations that begins with an accessible reading and is followed by language/ translation task that will scaffold pupils’ own answers to this question.
The resource includes a reading comprehension, vocabulary hunt and match up, an exercise on negative sentences, reading gap-fill, translation into French (recycling language from the resource) and a plenary writing task.
Spanish future tense regular & irregular grammar reading comprehension
A stand alone lesson on the future tense. There is a PowerPoint and hand-out which work well together and will allow pupils to grasp the future tense formation and usage quickly.
