Get your class talking about science! I made BIG books and put my class into science 'cells' (labels for big books included e.g. Brilliant Bulbs, Terrific Test Tubes) and at the start of each lesson I give the class a science-themed question to discuss. The children each use a different coloured felt-tip pen to record their ideas on a page in their Bright Ideas BIG Books. Included in the pack are BIG questions such as What are our bodies made of? What If's e.g. What if there were no plants in the world, PMI's (i.e. give me a positive, a minus and tell me something interesting!) such as what if your bones were made of jelly? Odd One Outs and Chain Reaction. This is a great pack (that will last you all year!) to get children thinking, talking, predicting, justifying and debating science in a fun way!
