Acid-Base acid-metal worksheet with extension for fast finishers

(0)
Acid-base and acid-metal reaction questions that gradually increase in difficulty. This worksheet offers some differentiation through the extension question, which can either be assigned to the higher-level students in a mixed ability class, or otherwise left for fast-finishers to ensure every student is engaged at all times. Great refresher for A-level students after the Summer holidays. Printer friendly with answer sheet. Good for homework.

Solids, Liquids and Gases pre-test NEW SYLLABUS

(0)
Pre-test for solids, liquids and gases topic. Christmas Chemistry worksheet on calculating the mass of a certain number of moles. Light worksheet that consolidates work studied on calculating the mass of a certain number of moles by matching the moles to the mass in a Christmas cracker theme. Very good for reiteration with lower ability classes, a pleasant piece of lighter work for higher ability classes or a useful revision tool for A level students. This versatile worksheet can be used as a quick exercise by joining the two answers using a line or by colouring the answers the same colour, or can be turned into a longer exercise by cutting and sticking the answers in the correct formation in the students' books.

FORCES Complete 1 hour lesson on falling - Physics bottom set double award

(0)
This is a complete lesson on falling for bottom set double award physics classes. It takes a slower, steadier approach to the falling topic, keeping things interesting by using variations of Wile-E-Coyote falling in place of the generic parachuter that they have come across too many times to count. (Kids DO still know who roadrunner and Wile-E-Coyote are when they see the picture... I was a little worried the first time I gave the lesson too!) This pack comes with a detailed lesson plan, complete with timings you can adjust to your own needs, a presentation that covers the whole 60 minutes and a black and white printer friendly worksheet. This could also be used as a quick revision tool to entertain A-level students.
