In this lesson, students can use the template to make their own board game based on a fantasy book of their choice. I give them two examples: Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings, but students can choose any book! Lesson comes with resources.

Here, the students will follow clues around the ‘middle earth’ (the school) to lead them to the final treasure. This could work for any school that has a playground, a hall and a library!

This fun task will test students’ problem solving and memory skills. This escape room is accessible for grades 6-8, while still providing enough challenge for some sets in year 9 and 10 to enjoy.
