Regular -er verbs conjugation worksheet French
Worksheet for practicing the conjugation of regular -er verbs in the present tense
Song gap fill on l'éducation (GCSE version and A level version)
Students take 10 minutes to fill in the gaps (using the English translation to help). They then listen to the song to check if they got the gap fill correct or not!
GCSE version and A level version are both on the same doc, with answers.

Gapfill of the song ‘j’ai vu la vie’ by Christophe Maé. Can be adapted to make it easier or more difficult!
Once done you can
-Ask students to highlight all examples of the past tense in the song (regular and irregular)
-Ask students to look through the song and note down any useful new vocab that they can see

Sixth Form French Icebreaker- Je n'ai jamais
Cut out the cards and place in the middle. Students take it in turns to pick a card, translate and say if they’ve done it or not.
You can play a version where students hold up ten fingers and for each time they’ve done it, they must put a finger down. See which student has done the most things!

A level French revision game (colander game)
Print off the words, fold them up and put them in a box/container and mix them up.
Students take it in turns (2 mins each) to try to describe words to the class and get the class to guess them. Once they have successfully got the class to guess the word, they move on to the next one. They can have three passes. The student who manages to successfully describe the most words wins.
Optional round two: with the words that were guessed from round one, put those words together, and play again, but this time students can only make a gesture for each word.
