Clyst Vale Community College is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for students aged 11-18. It is located in Broadclyst, near Exeter, in the county of Devon, and has about 900 pupils.
The academy is operated by the Clyst Vale Academy Trust and is specialist in science, maths and ICT.

Clyst Vale Community College’s mission is to raise achievement standards through improvements to teaching and learning; provide opportunities for members of the school to participate and succeed; prepare pupils for community for life; and to use current and future technology effectively to benefit the whole community.
The school aspires to produce students who are confident, motivated to learn, creative, and who are both self aware and appreciative of the qualities of others. It hopes that pupils of the school will realise their potential, exceed their expectations and play an active and positive role in society.
The school’s statement of its distinctive “Rights Respecting” ethos include a focus on being inclusive, purposeful, democratic, inspiring, motivational, transformative, open and honest. It also aims to be firm but fair.
