Values and vision
The ultimate aim of schools in the Kemnal Academies Trust is to ensure that it drives educational standards through the provision of outstanding leadership, teaching, and learning. Pupils are at the heart of everything the trust does, and it strives to inspire learners and change lives as a result of the exceptional educational provision it aims to offer.
Cleeve Park School’s vision is “to provide an excellent education for all our students”. Its mission statement speaks of “Commitment”, “Pride”, and “Success” (commitment to learning; pride in ourselves and our community; success in all we do).
The school aspires to provide a stimulating environment and lessons which demonstrate to pupils that education is exciting and worthwhile as a life-long activity. It hopes to encourage methods of learning that depend on pupil activity, and to provide courses which are appropriate to life in modern society.
“Leadership of the headteacher and the senior team is good. They have set high expectations for staff and students, and successfully developed a strong focus on high-quality teaching.”
“Achievement has risen and the school’s capacity to improve further is strong. Middle leaders lead their teams very effectively. Governors know the school very well. They are a strong, unified group and have played a key role in improving the school.”
