About Eden Girls School, Coventry
Eden Girls' School is a secondary Islamic faith school and sixth form for girls aged between 11 and 18. It is located on Stoney Stanton Road in Coventry and was opened in September 2014. It started with 150 year year 7 and year 8 students, and aims for an attendance of 500 11-16 year olds in 2017. A 200-place sixth form college is due to be opened in 2018.
It is part of the Tauheedul Education Trust (TET), which is a mixed Multi-Academy Trust, running both non-faith and faith based schools, including other Eden Schools across the country.
Values and vision
Eden Girls' School, Coventry is a Muslim faith school offering education to students of every faith and also students of none. They have a mission to promote educational excellence in a secure and caring Islamic environment, teaching the values of mutual care, respect and discipline.
One of the school's aims is to promote educational excellence based on the notion that each student has great potential to succeed and the school commits itself to engaging with pupils on a personal level to give the highest level of teaching each and every student can receive.
Every effort is made by the school to instil high aspirations and a genuine desire for learning in its pupils, preparing them fully for future opportunities.
The school has a vision of “Nurturing Today's Young People, Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders.”
