Values and Ethos

There is something very special about the atmosphere and ethos at Frogmore; something that is so frequently commented upon by various visitors to the College.

Each and every student is valued: whatever their strengths students are supported to flourish and excel. Our small size means every student is truly known as an individual.

High standards are expected and are the norm: only the very best behaviour, attitudes, appearance and learning are acceptable.

Mutual respect is enjoyed: every member of the Frogmore community is important, valued and appreciated.

Relationships are given the highest priority; between staff, between staff and students, between the students themselves and of course with parents. We believe that within this supportive, harmonious atmosphere our students discover that it is possible to enjoy their school years and leave with tremendous prospects.

We are proud of all our students and their achievements and we have a deep commitment to excellence and to providing an educational experience that is exceptional.

We not only want our students to excel in their GCSEs and public examinations but we also want to help them develop into sensible and confident young adults capable of making good choices in life.

The College's outstanding caring culture, as repeatedly emphasised by Ofsted, is fundamentally important to us and it is this combined with our high quality teaching and learning, our determination to get the very best out of all our students together with the vast array of other opportunities, which enables our students to be so successful.

Site and Facilities

Frogmore occupies a spacious, green 50 acre site which has a positive bearing on the overall ambience of the College.

Students at Frogmore benefit from excellent facilities that are constantly being developed and improved. All main subjects are accommodated in their own specialist teaching areas. Drama benefits from a large, well-equipped studio; Physical Education benefits from a spacious Sports Hall, an all-weather pitch and the use of an on-site leisure centre.  An excellent ICT infrastructure is in place throughout the College.
