Hillcroft Primary School

Hillcroft Primary School and Nursery serves a residential area in the centre of Caterham on the Hill. All staff and Governors at Hillcroft Primary School share the school vision and are all involved in realising this vision in their day to day practice.

We all believe in what we do and are passionate about making a difference to the children in our care. Subsequently, we are constantly evolving. We are both reflective in our practice and strive be the very best we can in all aspects of our work.

I’ve heard people say that Hillcroft Primary School is a school on the ‘move’. I’ve heard people say we are a school with strengths in MFL, science and computing. I’ve also heard that we are fantastic with children who don’t find school easy. Yes we are, but we are so much more. We are a ‘values’ led school with great ambitions for our children. Our aim is to equip our children with the skills necessary for life in the 21st century, ensuring that they are STRONG ‘learners of the future’. Our parents also believe in this ambition and play a huge part in our journey, which we travel together to ensure our vision is achieved.
