Values and vision
Although it is a stand-alone academy, Huish Episcopi Academy works closely with local schools, as well as some external partners, to best provide for its students. The school’s curriculum is designed to offer a broad range of subjects, both in the sixth form and lower school, to ensure that pupils are able to pursue their own individual interests. The sixth form provides both academic and vocational qualifications.
“Students’ behaviour is positive and welcoming. Students are confident and happy, both around the academy and in lessons, and are emphatic that they feel safe and well cared for… Equality of opportunity sits at the heart of the academy’s work. Students develop well, both academically and as rounded individuals, suitably prepared for their future lives.”
