About King's College School (La Moraleja)

King’s Group

King’s Group is an international education organisation. We own and operate a network of private British international schools and UK Academies, and complement this with services providing children’s Academic Year Abroad programmes and Summer Courses, Adult Training and Catering Services.

Our school network is one of the most established in the world and currently covers the UK, Europe and Latin America. In recognition of its success the UK Government also awarded us Multi-Academy Trust sponsorship status allowing us to privately manage state schools in England. Now with more than 45 years’ experience, King’s Group has nearly 1000 employees across the globe, educating more than 5,500 students at any one time.

King's College School (La Moraleja)

King’s College School opened in September2007 and has become a thriving preparatory school, with a roll of 520 pupils from Nursery to Year 9 (aged 3 to 14).

The school is closely linked with King’s Infant School (Chamartin) and King’s College (Soto de Viñuelas). A class joins La Moraleja in Year 3 from Chamartin and La Moraleja pupils transfer to Soto de Viñuelas for Yr 10. The majority of pupils are Spanish, although there are a significant number of British and international pupils, with over 30 different nationalities represented.

The school follows the British National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE courses which begin in Yr 9. The pupils are highly motivated and are very well supported by their parents. This makes teaching and working within Kings College School very fulfilling.

Regular professional training takes place both internally and externally. There are many opportunities for career progression and promotion and the excellent reputation that King’s enjoys worldwide, ensures that staff are strong candidates when applying for promotions both within the Uk and Internationally.

What people say about us

King’s College pupils are intelligent, inquisitive individuals who challenge boundaries and seek out their aspirations through hands-on learning. At King’s College School we have high expectations of our pupils and offer them excellent opportunities for personal development, adventure and academic achievement. We encourage pupils’ curiosity and imagination at every stage of school life, and provide important foundations so that they genuinely enjoy coming to school, and can achieve their very best in today’s rapidly evolving, competitive, global society.  Education though, is about so much more than academic success; it is about developing as a young learner, embracing opportunities, and learning how to deal with the various challenges that life inevitably brings. At King’s College School we challenge academic excellence and balance it with fun learning activities to develop well-rounded young people.  Our prospectus provides you just a flavour of the opportunities here, but it is only by coming to visit us that you will truly be able to grasp the positive and energetic learning community that we offer. I look forward to welcoming you and showing you our school in action.
