Open Sky International schools prepare pupils to succeed in a rapidly changing, competitive and multicultural world. We have a real passion for education and our curriculum, teaching and learning methodology are built on the strongest aspects of a range of international curricula. We have high expectations and standards from the beginning for all children and we aim for our curriculum to be rigorous, broad and engaging. We understand that children are powerful learners, and we are confident that every child will make progress with the right strategies and support. This is why we do not practise selection at the admissions stage; instead, we believe that the role of a school is to enable all of its students to realise their potential.

Our curriculum targets both academic excellence and children’s personal development. We believe that academic excellence is compatible with children being fulfilled at school and respect, work, effort and critical thinking are all core elements of our philosophy.

Mastering languages is the key to cultures and to culture. Our group educational vision is for all pupils to achieve equal oral and written proficiency in French and English by the time they leave school. In addition, we believe that exposure to international cultures helps children to develop critical thinking and a set of values free of prejudice. We aim to provide children with the tools they will need to make the right choices in an open and globalised world, so that they can succeed in France or elsewhere. Our curriculum framework at all stages has been carefully designed to achieve this vision.
