About Rastrick High School
Rastrick High School is a large mixed gender school with Academy status situated in Calderdale, neighboured by the towns of Brighouse and Elland in the heart of West Yorkshire, close to Junction 25 of the M62 meaning we are just 25 minutes from Leeds and only 35 minutes from Manchester.
We have a passion for learning and at the heart of our school is an unyielding determination in achieving excellence in everything we do. Rastrick High School will challenge and support each child in equal measure, with the goal of teaching the skills and values they need to be truly successful.
We teach a curriculum which is broad and enriching; encompassing subjects and qualifications which meet the needs of all our students. This high quality curriculum is combined with inclusive, bespoke student support that is focused on students growing into independent, happy and successful young people.

All positions at Rastrick High School meet the requirements of exemption under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, successful applicants who are offered positions with the school will be subject to a criminal record check (Enhanced Disclosure) from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before the appointment is confirmed.
