Values and vision
St Joseph’s asks its students to subscribe to the principles of tolerance and patience, with an explicit focus on care and understanding. The secondary school states that, although teachers do not issue long lists of school rules, students are expected to adhere to the pupil code of conduct. Copies are provided to all students at the start of the academic year.
Estyn report
“Most pupils show an outstanding commitment to their school and local community through extensive charity fund raising work and community projects. Nearly all actively participate in decision-making through several representative groups and contribute their views on how and what they learn. Trained peer mentors support younger pupils to settle into school effectively.”
