About Tara Pattana International School
Tara Pattana International School is a privately-owned community school located very close to the centre of Pattaya. The school delivers the National Curriculum for England adapted for our local setting. Our students are eager to learn, polite and respectful of one another and of adults working at the school. The students represent over 50 nationalities and cultures and diversity is respected and celebrated at the school.

Chonburi offers a wealth of activities for residents and visitors alike. You can explore the beautiful beaches of Bang Saen and Jomtien, visit the scenic islands of Koh Sichang, Koh Lan, Koh Samet and Koh Chang or engage in watersports such as diving, snorkelling, and jet skiing. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy hiking and wildlife watching in the Khao Kheow Open Zoo and the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden. The area also hosts many cultural attractions including the Sanctuary of Truth. Additionally, Chonburi benefits from significantly less traffic compared to Bangkok, making daily commutes and travel more pleasant and efficient. Chonburi is approximately 80 kilometers (about 1.5 hours) from Bangkok, making it easily accessible by road, and only about 60 kilometers (about 1 hour) from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport, providing excellent connections for international travel.

Location
Living and working in Thailand has been an invigorating and life-changing experience; having had the opportunity to learn about an ancient and proud culture while also being able to enjoy all the activities and experiences that living in the heart of one of the world’s top tourist destinations offers, has been fantastic. As TPIS is a growing school, I have felt encouraged to move into new roles, try new things and develop professionally. I feel confident that when I approach my SLT with a new idea, about which I am passionate, they will share my enthusiasm and give the freedom to develop it.
