About The Queen Elizabeth Academy
At The Queen Elizabeth Academy, we have achieved our best-ever GCSE results, putting us well above the national average, and we have been designated Local Leaders of Education.
In our last Ofsted inspection, we were rated Good overall and Outstanding for personal development, behaviour and welfare.
In particular, inspectors noted that “pupils’ behaviour is outstanding – they work hard and the great majority take pride in their work”. Ofsted also commented that “pupils are taught the skills needed to become thoughtful, self-confident citizens, able to express their views and opinions”, resulting in “pupils [who] enjoy coming to school”.
These are just some of the reasons we’re growing so fast – in September 2018, the Local Authority asked us to take on an additional 30 students to support the growing need in the area. As a result, we will be expanding our facilities over the summer and opening a new teaching block in September.
There’s simply never been a better time to join us – especially given the comprehensive support we enjoy at the heart of Academy Transformation Trust.
