About Trinity Academy, Halifax
Trinity Academy is the outstanding flagship school in Trinity Multi-Academy Trust. We are a growing Multi-Academy Trust, our CEO is a National Leader of Education and we are the lead school in the Trinity Teaching School Alliance and White Rose Maths Hub.
Trinity Academy is the model of excellence for the growing number of academies and free schools joining the trust. The team behind the success at Trinity are working to help those joining our trust to replicate our successes in improving the outcomes for and young people.
Our vision is to inspire each and every student to achieve their potential through high-quality teaching, provided within an environment led by our Christian values. In July 2013 we were judged ‘outstanding’ in every category by Ofsted and we have continued to strive to be considered ‘outstanding within outstanding’. Our results in 2016 were our best ever, with 77% of students achieving five or more A*-C GCSEs (including English and Maths).
We have a robust approach to behaviour and, with highly effective systems and support; we can ensure that teachers can focus on developing their teaching. Our mantra of ‘Culture & Consistency = Excellence’ is something that we are proud of and all staff support us to maintain this philosophy.
All of these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and key to our continuing success is the quality of teaching. We invest in the professional development of staff and are able to offer comprehensive, regular CPD opportunities for all staff.
In addition to professional development, we offer career progression and the opportunity to work on a range of innovative projects. As the trust expands and more schools join, there will be development opportunities to accelerate your career progression and build your leadership skills, whilst contributing to the trust’s vision of improving education for all students.
