Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trust’s flagship community education campaign. It aims to raise awareness of the number of accidents that seriously injure or kill children and how to prevent them. The theme for this year’s Child Safety Week is ‘Make Time for Safety’ – parents are being encouraged to pledge time to prevent accidents in the home. The Child Accident Prevention Trust is the UK’s leading charity working to reduce the number of children and young people killed, disabled or seriously injured in accidents.
