Arithmetic - 50 full test/100 daily practices - Complete KS2 Year 6 Revision/Practice

(0)
This bundle includes 50 full tests (with 36 questions) to practice with as well as 100 daily arithmetic practices (with ten questions each) for your class. Great for early morning or starters. The daily practices provide the ability to track the children’s confidence in different areas. The full tests look just like the real things and the composition of questions are based on the real thing too. With both the full tests and the daliy practices, there are three different sizes for each test: All the questions on a page (or two on a page for the daily practices). A condensed version when compared to the real tests to save paper but still have that 'real test feel’ A full-sized arithmetic test For the daily practices, the objectives and question types from genuine arithmetic tests have been spread out across sets of ten tests. Ensuring both variety and repetition. With the daily practices, each question fits in an area: Written Multiplication Written Division Written Addition Written Subtraction Mental Multiplication Mental Division Mental Addition Mental Subtraction Multiply/Divide by 10/100/1000 Add Fractions Subtract Fractions Multiply Fractions Divide Fractions Fractions of a Number Order of Operations Percentages For the majority of areas, three levels of questions have been provided. Each test comes with a few questions from each challenge level so some questions are accessible to everyone whilst others will provide a challenge to your most able. For example, with ‘Written Multiplication’, Level 1 includes two digits x one digit or three digits x one digit, Level 2 includes three digits x two digits and four digits x four digits and Level 3 includes multiplying whole numbers by decimals. Not only that but assessment tracking has also been provided for the daily practices. Each day, the children or you can record on the QLA tracking sheet. This allows you to quickly identify gaps and support children. The sheet allows for identification of what the level of the question was that they struggled with. Great for KS2 SATs preparation and revision. Instructions are provided on how to do this.

Venn Diagrams and Probability

(1)
Venn Diagrams are a more recent addition to GCSE Maths and the new 9-1 syllabus. This popular resource is an excellent introduction to sorting numbers into Venn diagrams (with categories such as ‘Factors of 12’, ‘Prime Numbers’, ‘Multiples of 3’ etc) and then leads onto calculating probabilities based on the Venn Diagrams i.e. ‘What is the probability that the number chosen is more than 5 but not a multiple of 3?’ The resource contains… A worksheet sorting numbers into Venn Diagrams An extension task where students have to write their own categories Two worksheets where students have to complete a Venn Diagram and calculate probabilities An extension where students have to write their own probability questions This resource is ideal for recapping factors, multiples, primes and square numbers and a great way to introduce Venn diagrams to prepare students for problems on set theory.
