This resource is aimed at EDEXCEL GCSE History students studying Medicine Through Time, c1250-present. This bundle includes four A3 sheets which serve as comprehensive revision resources and an additional revision pack which includes 4 weeks worth of tasks and includes 40 knowledge questions for each unit (answers in the notes bar for cross-referencing) and exam question planning/help for each of the questions in the paper. There are ‘model’ teacher completed sheets for the first two A3 sheets which should act as a guide for what can/should be achieved with these resources. Students can complete tasks from memory, using class notes, the Pearson or Hodder textbooks, or online flashcards.
It’s been tried and tested with several cohorts and has significant impact when setting revision in the run up to mocks, end of year tests or real exams
This PowerPoint has all past paper questions for the GCSE Edexcel Elizabeth I paper, along with a model answer for each!
All question 1s are together and so are all question 2s and 3s.
They are also arranged into their relevant chapters, so that students can focus on one topic at a time.
Finally, there is a model answer for each question, for students to compare their answers to and to memorise for the exam.
There is a very good chance that this years questions will replicate past paper questions (or be very close!).

Attached are 4 power points I wrote, that informs students on the structure of the Edexcel GCSE History unit exam papers: Superpower Relations and the Cold War, Elizabethan England, Weimar and Nazi Germany and Medicine Through Time. I have also included on the the powerpoint slides some example answers as well as advice on how to construct good answers. Mark schemes are also included. As a non specialist and working independently, I found these useful when guiding my students into making their own well constructed answers. I also made these available for revision and past paper practice at home.
I hope they are useful for any other non specialists.
The session looks at the how useful question. it has a set of sources from WW1 and a set from Nazi Germany. This was designed to consolidate prior knowledge and practice key skills before the exam.
