Writing Feedback for OCR GCSE

We are trying to mark pieces of extended writing along the new GCSE schemes from Year 9 onwards. We like Rachel Hawkes' tick grids very much and have incorporated it into our feedback sheet. Many thanks, Rachel for yet another fab idea! Could also be used for peer assessment. German example given here.

Profe Majo Spanish means that I create resources that are book specific. Have you ever had that moment when you find a resource that doesn’t match the content of the book you are using and you, therefore, have to spend a lot of time tweaking that resource? Well, I save you the trouble of doing that. I save you time. A lot of TIME! Do you need a quick, fun activity? After you have taught the MI FAMILIA and ¿Cómo eres? lessons, from the MIRA HIGHER OCR - GCSE book, ¡PERDIDOS CHAPTER!, feel free to enjoy and have fun with your students, by using these five crossword puzzles. This is just a sample of the paid resource. Use it for bellwork, HW, TOD, as a game, etc. Don’t forget to give me a review and to follow me.

Flashcards - OCR GCSE Spanish: Vocabulary List - General

I have put every word in the vocabulary list that OCR publishes onto flashcards. This pack is just on the topic of General words from the vocabulary list, but I have published all the other topics here on TES. If you are familiar with these words then the exam will be incredibly easy, since these are the only words that they will use in the exam. In this bundle, I have printed a pack with pictures, a pack in which you fold down the middle and a pack which you print double sided. The different packs are all exactly the same words, just choose the one which will help the words stick in your mind.

Spanish Common Vocab from OCR exams

An attempt to analyse the Spanish OCR GCSE papers since the new specification in 2009 listing words you would have had to understand to be able to gain a mark along with some derivative/link words. Does not include direct cognates, utterly common language (numbers, days, times, connectives etc.).It is long (3 pages) but is a lot less so than the 48 page OCR list. I may try to do one for French but no promises.

Ticket out the door- MIRA HIGHER OCR ¡PERDIDOS!

This resource consists of 24 different TICKETS OUT THE DOOR. They are made for the chapter ¡Perdidos! of the book Mira-Higher. This resource is excellent as a classroom starter, as a Ticket out the Door, as a game, as a small daily assessment, for those moments when you have five minutes left and don’t know what to do, as a WHEN I’M DONE ACTIVITY, etc. I personally use them on a daily basis. My students are used to them and they are very easy to grade.

Tasks are not the actual controlled assessment that they do but a mock to get them into the swing of CAs. We allow them to record at home and have modified the tasks to fit each class. Basically - if it's useful to you great - change it at will!
