Printing off in A3 is best for writing space. Spend 5 minutes on each section and one clock lasts a 60 minute lesson or use for students to revise individually.
This resource explains the requirements for all of the questions in the new GCSE exam for component 2 Germany 1919-1991 but can be easily adapted for all the other component 2 units like the USA 1929-1990. The flashcards and posters give advice on answering the question and look at other example questions.
Includes 6 flashcards (just print off on card and cut into four) for students to be given for revision. Also includes 5 posters which are bigger A4 versions of the flashcards.

A set of 34 flashcards based on all the key content on the spec - giving pupils the key information they need to revise. Knowledge based only they contain the key content from the spec in easy to learn bullet points.
I photocopied the flashcards onto card and cut the pages in half. Each A4 page contains two flashcards.

Everything you need to teach this unit is here. The PowerPoint presentation covers the entire unit with class based activities built in. Pupils can take home the information booklet and use it for their revision (and if they miss lessons they can always use it to catch up). There is a test for them to complete which is based on knowledge and understanding only. This test also contains all the answers if they want to learn these off by heart. I also have an exemplar answer of the extended question in the WJEC papers which they can learn. I've also thrown in a group work card sorting exercise for pupils to compete if time allows -this can also be used in Year 8 when teaching poverty and vagrancy, and at A level.
This bundle contains 20 model-answers for 15-mark rubrics in the new GCSE Sociology course (WJEC/EDUQAS specification).
By using these 15-mark rubrics and examplar answers over the 2-year course: it will be an excellent component of their exam preparation.
