This resource was used with year 6 students who were studying contemporary dance. This is the written assessment which is 3 pages long. In this task, students are required to compare, contrast and reflect on their choreography and that of a teacher choice video (video not included, however, the assessment is open ended and does not name a video so anything could be used). There are 4 multiple choice questions at the end of the assessment regarding contemporary dance. Lots of space is provided for students to record their answers and the resource is appropriately scaffolded. Whilst used in a year 6 class, this reosurce could be used in any upper primary or lower high school dance lesson.

This resource is aimed at upper primary/lower high school students who are studying contemporary dance. This resource was used with year 6 students. As part of their assessment, students had to create contemporary dance choreography but needed to include a particular contemporary movement in their dance. Each movement and description on this resource was cut up and handed out to students. They had previously been taught what each movement looked like and how to dance this. This resource could be used in an assessment task, as a whole class activity or as a poster displayed in a classroom explaining different aspects of contemporary dance.

The activities are aligned with the curriculum and aim to provide students with a fun, creative learning opportunity. There are no worksheets needed for these tasks. Activities are easily edited to make easier or more challenging and could also be used in a lower high school setting. Some of the activities repeat across the bundle but there are many new activities.

This year 2 written drama task can be easily adjusted for older students to make it more challenging. It is based on the topic of Humpty Dumpty with 2 of the 9 questions based around their Humpty Dumpty drama performance, however, the Humpty Dumpty wording could be removed to make it more general and open ended or specific to another topic. The questions involve some picture with multiple choice selections and mostly short sentence level writing. The assessment asks student about what is drama and why drama is performed, as well as allowing them to reflect on their performance. This assessment links to the curriculum by having children discuss how voice and movement was used in their drama performance.

This drama assessment is a planning resource aimed at mid-upper primary students. There are 3 pages of this resource. The first page is a checklist for students to know what they need to include in their script, the second page is a list of 15 different scenarios (groups chose 1 scenario to write about for their script) and the last page has planning space for students to write their script. The resource has lots of prompts (on the first page) with the inclusion of the checklist with things like: tension, stage directions and reminding students how to write a script in the correct format.
