I am a qualified nurse and an experienced HSC teacher with over 30years experience teaching HSC. I have also written some of the Pearson units on the current specification for the Level 3 Extended Diploma. This is a complete resource package for teaching the new AAQ BTEC Unit 2 Human Biology and Health. There are: • individual lessons in detailed PowerPoints covering all of Unit 2. • Each lesson has detailed explanations including videos where appropriate. • For every sction , there is an example exam question to guide students on the type of questions they will have. There is also guidance on how to revise in each PowerPoint. • For every disorder there are detailed links to WHY the disorder causes the effects it does with clear link to the anatomy and physiology of each body system that is affected. As well as the PowerPoints, there is also: • a detailed scheme of work with associated resources as referenced in the PowerPoints. • three mini mocks coverin Learning Aim A, Learning Aim B and Learning Aim C individually with associated mark schemes. • a detailed Excel file for recording marks and calculating grades (the grade boundaries have been estimated using the old specification) • a Unit 2 front sheet for recording grades. Also available in my shop is a detailed excel spreadsheet covering the whole AAQ specification which allows you to track all of your student progress and in real time automatically generates personal tracking sheets.
