Double sided, A3 cover-work sheet, students have to work through a range of tasks to create their own logo. Feedback from cover-staff has been positive and ample work to cover more than one lesson.

A design task introducing students to biomimicry, students asked to consider features that can be used from nature to solve human problems. The tasks start from discussing and explaining features that animals have to developing their own products based on nature.

I found that the workbooks provided by the exam board are overwelming for the students as they contain so many pages, therefore, I have created 4 workbooks that cover the contents for the new specification, these include scaffolding which works well for 9 mark questions. I have also uploaded the teacher copies with answers so that students can self mark if required.

A colourful A3 sheet with sentence starters and connectives for all written areas covered within D&T. Works great as a differentiation resource and focuses on literacy within lessons. Student feedback on resource has been positive and they willingly use it.

Year 7/8 food lesson on evaluating, was used for an observation lesson that achieved very positive feedback. All the resources needed are included as well as differentiated task sheets and lesson plan.

Coversheet on product analysis.

This booklet is used to teach drawing techniques to year 9 graphic product students. The booklet has proven to be successful and the assessment works well, giving the students the opportunity to reflect on teacher comments and set own targets.

First 3 power points for communication unit. Each is a lessons worth of work.

This resource is fantastic for both group and independent work. The students are given a task which they have to complete independently; the resource helps them plan and discover/investigate what they know already and what they need to find out. This also allows them to make cross curricular links and discuss how skills/techniques/processes learnt in other subjects could help complete the task. Has worked successfully for KS4 classes and promotes independent learning.

AQA Design and Technology - Putting theory into action, with intent and reflection, ensures that learners will continually improve. These booklets contain exam style questions that will help students practice and become familiar with exam content.

Year 7 lesson plan and all resources, as well as planned questioning. Very positive feedback from observation.

A Year 8 Graphics project which encourages students to develop their 3d drawing and CAD skills. The resources include a full scheme of work with bloomed questioning, workbook and PPT presentation for all lessons. Outcomes created by students have been of high quality and they have enjoyed the project. You may need to tweak activities to suit different abilities.

Lesson resources for unit 3, abortion debate. The group was split into 2 and students had to debate for or against abortion giving their reasons, while the other half of the class observed a student each and gave them feedback.

These are generic answer flash cards to be used with multiple choice quizzes, plenaries, assessment, revision games, to check understanding and progress made. The A3 sheet will need to be printed, cut, laminated and bound together using either treasury tags or a split pin so that the cards can be moved. Useful for all year groups, gets all students involved and one set of cards can be used for any topic.
