These 10 free worksheets focus on cvc words such as cap, lid and dog. This is a vital stage for children just learning to read and spell.
The sheets were designed to accompany the Froggy Match-it phonics app at level 1, but can be used by any children learning phonics.
The pdf consists of 10 worksheets, each with the same format. The child has to match words and pictures, then write one of the given words to complete a sentence. A rhyming extension task is also provided.
