Over 20 worksheets of simple activities involving money that are illustrated and designed for use mainly with adults and teenagers. Choose the right coins to pay for items. Find the total value of 2, 3 or 4 coins or notes. The answers are small numbers in pence or whole numbers of pounds. Find coins totalling 5p or 10p. Add up the total cost of 2 or 3 items in whole numbers of pounds. Find the change from using £5 or £10 notes to buy items. Is there enough money to pay for these things ? Many of the sheets have a colour version to add to the visual appeal. Print onto card then laminate so the pages can be reused with a wipe off marker pen. Please review this resource. Students will first discover what budgeting, sources of income and outgoings are, before investigating why it’s important to budget and studying a sample budgeting plan from an average teenager. Finally they will create their own. Includes lesson plan. This has been created to best suit KS3, but could easily be used with KS4 and is entirely editable. It covers the DfE and PSHE Association guidance for 2020-24 and will last you one hour. This book looks at recognising, sorting and counting coins, using and calculating amounts of money up to 10p, finding exact sums to pay for items up to 10p, and giving change to 10p. There is a wide range of interesting tasks to achieve understanding. Reading is kept to a minimum but important mathematical vocabulary is included.
