Phonics worksheets which can be used with any phonics scheme
Covers all phonics blends, digraphs, trigraphs and diphthongs.
For each phonics sound, blend, digraph, etc. there are 5 or 6 phonics pages:
Add the blend or digraph to the word and connect to the matching picture
Clear clip-art (black and white - perfect for colouring) phonics labeling page using 9 carefully chosen example phonics words/clip-art
followed by a fun read and draw page
Write the blend or digraph and read the words with the aid of sound buttons and lines under each grapheme.
Find, highlight and write the words containing each specific blend (or digraph, trigraph etc.)

This is an adjectives word mat I have made to support the writing in my class. I have these on every table during lessons to encourage pupils to use new words and to check the spelling of words they want to use. They are in alphabetical order so pupils can find the word they want to write fast. The different sections include:
• Positive feelings
• Negative feelings
• Size
• People
• Objects
• Time
An hour long lesson suitable for KS2 (or possibly lower KS3) all about the meaning of Identity, Citizenship and being ‘British’. It is well differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long Powerpoint, a clip with questions, a bingo game, new key-term introductions and a ‘History of British Settlers’ focus task. The lesson encourages students to reflect on their own identities as well as their classmates and the two case studies: Cecile and Yonis.

The topic of this Philosophy Boxes download is ‘Harmful Substances’ (covering alcohol, smoking, prescription medication, domestic products and addictive drugs). It is one of a series of PSHE-P4C sessions designed for KS2-4 PSHE students. The download comprises a P4C lesson/session that can be used multiple times with the same group.
The Philosophy Boxes Method is a new approach to PSHE designed for students in KS2-4: it is graphically stimulating, engaging, and fun. This download is also suitable for older students: but the format was designed with younger students in mind. In this context: ‘Philosophy Boxes’ represents a more student-centred ‘debate & discussion’ approach to PSHE issues.
The aim of our ‘Philosopy Boxes’ PSHE sessions is to bring deep, critical thinking to PSHE, exploring PSHE using P4C (Philosophy for Children) debates and discussions. One advantage to the method is that it helps students to practice their social skills through the activities.
The Philosophy Boxes Method presents students with a set of ‘mystery boxes’, when a student selects one of the boxes they are presented with 1 of 21 discussion/debate activities (in 8 different formats).
The presentation has integrated AfL so that teachers can test knowledge at any point in the lesson. There are 10 different AfL slides to choose from.
The design is colourful, animated, fun and engaging: all activities require movement and teachers can decide whether students are expressing their ideas purely verbally or by using post-it notes.
