The main task asks the students an analyse propaganda posters and determine whether they are positive or negative propaganda and what the messages are behind this.
This lesson asks students to evalaute if the Polish and Czech Pilots who fought in World War Two have been given enough credit for their sacrifices.
The lesson, designed to fit into a 1hr period, asks students to watch a video and then undertake a comprehension task where they identify incidents of Polish pilots been given enough credit and discriminated against in order to help them make a judgement.
This is a fairly high level lesson, but the comphrension could be slimmed down to lower the level.

This lesson looks at the Evacuation of British Children at the start of World War Two.
It is based on group work who receive one of five source packs and are asked to make a judgement of the success based on these sources.
The source packs are different and encourage different outcomes, which will then be fed back to the whole class.
