This lesson asks students make a judgement on whether the Dunkirk evacuation of 1940 should be seen as a success or failure.
It is designed as a group activity, although it could easily be adapted to be an individual one and asks students to make a judgement on the event as a success or failure based on the source pack they are given.
This is ideally a lesson for Ks3 students and is of a medium to high level.
