Harris Federation

The Harris Federation is a not-for-profit charity with almost 25 years’ experience of education in and around London. We have built our reputation on a family of Academies that, across the board, are setting standards of excellence and fulfilling high expectations. We are a successful, highly collaborative Academy group with 36 Academies as of September 2014, with a new primary Academy opening in September 2015. Each year as we have grown, the expectations we have set ourselves have increased. More than three quarters of our inspected Secondary Academies have been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and every Harris Academy inspected so far has been judged to be 'Good' or 'Outstanding'. Our Primary Academies, which are newer, significantly improved results between 2013 and 2014 with our Free School in Peckham becoming among the first in the country to be judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

The de Ferrers Trust

Following on from 10 years as a specialist Technology College, de Ferrers became an Academy in January 2012. It has grown into a large, split-site, co-educational institution catering for the full range of students from ages 11-18. In 2015 The de Ferrers Academy became a Multi Academy Trust (MAT).  In May 2016, three of our partner primary schools converted to academies within the Trust; Horninglow Primary, Lansdowne Infant and Eton Park Junior Academies.  We are delighted to confirm, that from 1st May 2017, The Pingle Academy has become the 2nd secondary academy to join the Trust.
