Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 lesson resource covering this year’s topic of action. The lesson considers what mental health is, what actions pupils can take which will benefit their mental health as well as that of others, the aim of mental health awareness week and gets pupils to consider the reasons / science behind mental health advice. The lesson finishes by returning to some other ways pupils can support their own mental health. Previews show examples of some slides included in this lesson. We also offer the resource in a shorter tutor time / assembly format.

This is an easy to follow power point lesson (no prior planning, printing or preparation required . The resource is designed to be delivered as one 60 minute session but all of our resources are fully editable. You may wish to print out the community sheets however these could also be drawn in books or on paper.
No previous knowledge in the subject area is needed, the lesson is easily deliverable by someone who is not a subject specialist or an experienced PSHE teacher. Lesson meets current UK PSHE guidance.
