Our eco hero is Asha de Dos, who has dedicated her life to raising awareness of these ocean giants. Our I Spy card will get you out and about spotting things that are the same size as a blue whale, and our rhyme card will tell you more about these fascinating creatures and the threats they face. You’ll find a postcard to help you start a campaign to get everyone caring for the ocean and a quiz to test your blue whale knowledge, as well as a pledge card and 20 blue whale facts to wow your friends. There’s 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a blue whale expert immediately!

Activities include learning to fold origami whales, making your own magnetic fishing game (can you avoid the whales?) as well as a simple project to make your own recycled crayons. There’s also a series of science experiments to help you understand how sound travels underwater.
