1–5 Christmas-Themed Pairs Game
A fun and festive matching game for practicing numbers 1–5!
Goal of the Game
Match each Christmas-themed image, numeral, and word that represent the same quantity (1–5). This game builds counting skills, number recognition, vocabulary, and visual discrimination.
Game Components
You will have a total of 45 cards, separated into 3 sets:
Image Cards (15)
Each card displays a Christmas-themed picture showing 1 to 5 items (e.g., 3 candy canes, 5 ornaments).
There are 3 image cards for each number.
Numeral Cards (15)
Numbers 1 through 5, each repeated three times.
Word Cards (15)
Written number words: one, two, three, four, five, each repeated three times.
How to Play
Two-Way Match
Match image → numeral → word
Example:
(3 stockings) → 3 → three
Three-Way Match
Place all 45 cards face up and match the image, numeral, and word to complete sets of three.
Challenge Levels
Level 1: Simple Pairs
Match images to numerals only.
Level 2: Add Word Cards
Kids must also find the correct number word.
Level 3: Time Challenge
Use a timer!
