1 week literacy plan based around Diwali, Rama and Sita for Year 2

5 days detailed literacy planning based around Diwali with a focus on the story of Rama and Sita. Planning differentiated at least 3 ways and can be adapted for both years 1 and 3. Included with the planning are all the resources to teach the lessons, a powerpoint of the story of Rama and Sita, a guided reading session with non-fiction texts at 3 levels based around Diwali with questions, Success criteria for every lesson and for each group and flipcharts for each day (Activ primary/studio compatible - there is a free download available on their website if needed).
