Part of the China: Conflict, Crisis and Change 1900–1989 course, this recap lesson is designed for the Edexcel IGCSE Breadth Study but is detailed enough to be suitable for any China history course. It reviews and consolidates knowledge from the period 1926–1934, using a range of retrieval-based activities and an online self-marking quiz to strengthen recall and understanding.
The lesson is fully self-contained and requires no textbook, with all the resources provided to deliver at least a “Good” rated lesson, if not “Outstanding”. Assessment and activity types are revisited via a retrieval grid to embed knowledge and skills.
Estimated lesson length: 45–60 minutes (but can easily extend over two or three lessons depending on teacher judgement).
Each lesson includes as a minimum:
Numeracy and literacy challenges
Keywords (to add to a student glossary)
EAL support sheets
Stretch and challenge activities
Teacher quick start guide
Literacy support mats

Fantastic resources, very happy with the purchase! And definitely worth spending the money on :) I will be looking for the rest of the series to buy as it would be a good investment.
