There are 20 cards (10 pictures and 10 phrases) intended to allow students to consolidate their knowledge about phrases to describe an ideal student. This is done using the structures il faut, il ne faut pas, on doit and on ne doit pas plus the infinitive of the verb. They have many uses, including: • Matching up the pictures and phrases to demonstrate comprehension. • Snap (matching pictures and phrases to win the pair if the student then says the phrase correctly). • Memory Game – Pairs (all cards laid face down and players take it in turn to find the pairs of pictures and phrases). • Stimulated speaking (students choose an image and then the first one to say the phrase correctly wins the card). • Providing a model for writing based around the opposite of what an ideal student should be like. These cards have been well received and if people come up with new ideas how to use them, they would be much appreciated.

Excellent. Thank you very much, will use very soon and am thinking of adapting along the lines of "what makes a good friend?"
