A*-B GCSE English Macbeth Quote Grids

Macbeth quotation grids that include five statements about each scene on one page per scene. Pupils must prove these statements with a quote, discuss a language technique used in their chosen quote and link their analysis back to their coursework question (in this case, Lady Macbeth’s strength). Grids are included for Act 1 Scene 5, Act 1 Scene 7, Act 2 Scene 2, Act 3 Scene 2 and Act 5 Scene 1. These worksheets were produced to help hit AO1 and AO2 marks in the WJEC GCSE English Literature Unit 3 coursework. These resources were produced for a Set 1 class, so target grades A*-B. These can be used as a plenary/starter task after you have annotated a scene as a class. These sheets provide a useful template that could easily be adapted to a different coursework question or be partially filled in.
