I created this Scheme of Learning to support ECTs and newly qualified teachers in my department :)

This complete 19-lesson GCSE scheme of learning for A Christmas Carol is designed for Key Stage 4 students (ages 14–16) and provides full coverage of Staves 1–5, with a strong focus on exam skills, analysis, and context (AO1, AO2, AO3).

Lessons are carefully sequenced to build understanding of character, themes, symbolism, and Dickens’ moral message.
