This unit has been designed as a pathway through A Doll’s House, preparing students for the IB comparative question; however it could be easily adapted for A-level teaching. The unit contains a mixture of full lessons, worksheets, articles, discussion questions, critical viewpoints and homework tasks. There are also revision worksheets on essay marking, essay planning, critical theory, staging, Krogstad, Dr Rank, themes and Ibsen’s use of subtext. The page numbers refer to the Methuen edition translated by Michael Meyer.
