A 5 week scheme studying key scenes from this iconic play. Ideally, it should be accompanied with a performance of the play. The unit of work is aimed at Year 7 and includes a range of analytical and creative activities. There is a detailed lesson on iambic pentameter and one lesson on the conventions of comedy. The unite begins with a brief look at Shakespeare’s life and works and the overall outcome is to write a monologue from the perspective of Titania.
