A View From the Bridge Complete Scheme - 14 lessons

This resource is a collection of lessons on Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge. (Focus on AQA literature and language paper skills for GCSE)
* The lessons are pitched at Year 9 and 10.
* The lessons systematically explores and analyses the play. (NOTE! Alfieri's opening speech is explored later in the scheme)
* All lessons begin with a recall activity to test prior knowledge.
* The lessons systematically go through the text with attention paid to the key scenes.
* Each lesson has a learning objective with either a literature or language focus - usually with a question to Key Question to answer at the end of the lesson.
* Each lesson has +1 activities for the more able students.
* All of the printing for each lesson is embedded in the PPTs and are hidden slides.
* The resource is ideal for teachers with an understanding of the text because many activities include live modelling of responses.
* There are modelled outcomes and answers in some lessons.
* You will need to have copies of the text .
