A Year from History in Headlines

Presentation used as a starter or plenary in a KS3/4 History lesson. Presentation contains 52 challenges in which there is a varied level of difficulty to allow for a differentiation of task relevant to students ability. In each challenge the students are presented with 3 “headlines” and a picture which all relate to a specific year. The students will select the correct year from a grid and, if correct, will be given more information to promote discussion. The whole presentation contains 108 slides with hyperlinks for ease of navigation embedded throughout.
