About a Boy by Nick Hornby: Character Description Cards

A set of eight character description cards for the main characters in Nick Hornby’s “About a Boy”. Illustrated with black and white hand-drawn illustrations of each character and full descriptions for each one. A blank set of cards without written descriptions is also included, so that pupils can make their own.

Add key quotes to the reverse of each card, and make them into a game: “Who said…?”
