This pack teaches students to judge a set of results with four checks: valid, accurate, repeatable and reproducible, and precise. It uses AQA’s own definitions, including repeatable and reproducible in place of ‘reliable’.

Inside:

  • the VARP routine on one page, with AQA’s definitions
  • 3 worked examples with full-mark answers
  • 12 practice questions with real-looking results tables, anomalies to spot and means to calculate
  • datasets that are precise but not accurate, and accurate but not precise
  • 3 ‘mark it and improve it’ tasks
  • a full mark scheme with model answers
  • a ‘How to use this pack’ page that lists which pages to print for students and which are for the teacher
  • three files: full colour, a print-friendly version with a white background, and a student pages file with no answers

Every question is original and written for AQA GCSE Combined Science (8464). Every answer has been independently checked.
