This is a card sort made for a weak group studying BTEC but could be used with other groups.

Students are to arrange the three acids at the top, the metals at the side and the salts in the correct position between the metal and acid. They then copy the table into their books.
(Idea taken from other tes user, just remade it to make it easier to cut).
PS. Thanks for the suggestion, spelling mistake corrected. Also whilst in practice those metals are indeed too reactive to be reacted with acids, this is just a theory exercise.

Two stars for the useful idea but not chemically accurate (and spelling errors). Copper and silver are not reactive enough to make the salts this way; sodium and calcium are way too reactive to be let near these strong acids. Not fair to give the students duff info, whatever their ability. Replace with iron, lead, nickel and aluminium.
