The resource is designed to be used with the Activate B1 3.6 Activity Sheet (Flower Dissection). A flower diagram is included for students to label. Plant organ resources are also included: plant organ function descriptions (to be printed out and placed around the room) and a Plant Organs student table. The lesson is ready to go and is designed to support pupils aiming for developing and secure outcomes. All pupils should be able to recall the parts of a flower and state what is meant by pollination; most pupils should also be able to use appropriate techniques to dissect a flower into its main parts; whilst some pupils should, in addition, be able to describe the process of pollination.
