Adolescence PSHE – Lesson 2: Just a Kid

In this thought-provoking KS4 PSHE lesson, students explore how fear, identity and pressure shape young people’s experiences.
Based on Adolescence, Episode 1, Part 1, this lesson uses a structured discussion approach to help students consider emotional responses, fairness and the role of authority.

Students will reflect on how young people are perceived by society and how control, vulnerability and courage can intersect.
Through guided conversation, they will practise empathy, respectful disagreement and critical thinking.
